The department is seeking professional services to build a centralised cloud-based portal to facilitate rostering through AI algorithms and manage attendance for adult members and cadets.

Expected Outcomes

The department is exploring the possibility of launching a new portal which could enable users to view attendance and training records, browse and register for events/training (with event registration status available) and receive prompt registration notifications for special events.  The platform will also enable team leaders to create events/training, confirm the list of attendees and arrange rostering.  The platform will be integrated with iAM Smart, which will be used for login and identity verification. 

Besides, the portal will be used for taking attendance.  It not only digitises the clocking-in and clocking-out time for each event so as to establish clear and accurate attendance records, but also enables team leaders to streamline the approval process, verify the identity of the attendees and their time of attendance. 

The portal aims at providing an electronic means for auto-filling of e-application forms through iAM Smart, receipt of notifications of application status, any upcoming registered events and other latest events of the department.  In addition, it will play an important role in sending notifications of successful enrolment and registration for written exams, fitness tests and medical examinations.  It will also provide miscellaneous notifications relating to ordering, distribution and pick-up of uniform.
